Late evening at Newgrange, with the sun setting to the north east and a golden glow catching the freshness in the air. The spirals and zig-zags on Kerbstone 67, one of the 97 massive stones set lengthways around the base of the mound, are iconic emblems of the art at Newgrange.

This photograph was selected by National Geographic Portugal to run as a double page spread in 2020.
